Despite the huge interest of Olympiakos to sign Romain Sato, the 29-year-old
Central African Republic forward could be close to reach to an agreement with
the Dallas Mavericks. This would be the second stint in the NBA for Sato,
currently a free agent after his contract with Montepaschi Siena expired,
after being signed by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2004-05 season, but
without playing a single minute. Sato, MVP of the last Lega A, averaged 14.7
points and 4.3 rebounds in the Italian league.
