During a recent radio interview with a Dallas sports talk radio station, Dirk Nowitzki was asked to talk about how much partying the Mavericks have done since winning the 2011 NBA Finals over the Heat a few weeks ago. And his answer was a little bit surprising. 近來Dirk接受了達拉斯當地的廣播節目訪問,Dirk被問到說自從你們幾個禮拜前打贏了熱火隊成為2011年的NBA冠軍之後,這中間你們有多少的慶祝活動? 但Dirk的回答令人有點意外. "I actually think we partied harder in 2006 when we lost just to forget about it than we did now," Nowitzki said. "We've had some good nights so far...[But] in '06, Jet picked me up for the party bus almost every day, and we went somewhere just to make us forget and have a good time. We ended up in Vegas after three hard weeks." Dirk:"事實上我認為我們在06年輸球後,為了忘記這件不愉快的事所開的趴,遠比今年更甚. 我們在06年有些美好的夜晚...,Jet幾乎每晚都帶我去開趴,我們去了些地方就是為了忘記這件傷心事並享受美好的時光,最後我們在賭城做結." That doesn't necessarily mean they've been slacking on celebrating this year, though. "We've had a couple of good nights," Nowitzki said, "but I'm 33. My body can't recover, so you have to party one day, and the next day you have to be off. You can't go back-to-back when you're that old. Partying once in awhile gets old. But I'll definitely put in some good work when I get to Germany when I see my friends, definitely be a couple of good nights there." 但這並不代表他們因為今年的慶祝而使自己有所懈怠.
