Rick Carlisle: No plan to sit Dirk Nowitzki Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said he believes Dirk Nowitzki is making progress with his sore right knee and that he doesn't have any plans to sit his perennial All-Star. Nowitzki acknowledged Wednesday night that his right knee has caused him problems since the start of the season, saying that he is having trouble bending it. He also said that his knee is better than it was three weeks ago and believes it will continue to get better. 卡帥說他相信Dirk的膝蓋慢慢的在好轉，而且也沒有計畫要讓他缺賽。 Dirk也承認膝蓋不太能彎，不過比三個禮拜前也就是開季的時候好多了，他也覺得會慢慢變好。 Carlisle said while he wouldn't rule anything out, such as giving Nowitzki some time off if he felt he needed it, but that's not the case at the moment. "We haven’t written anything off as a possibility. We monitor everything very closely," Carlisle told ESPN Dallas 103.3 FM's Galloway & Co., on Friday. "We sat Jason Kidd down for a week and that was something that’s hard to do because that guy's been a major anchor for us and we found a way to grind out some wins. We’ll leave any possibility open as a possibility, but going forward we think we’re going to be fine."
