The Mavericks are reportedly one of five teams interested in signing Brandon
Roy as a free agent. There are likely to be more teams involved as free
agency gets ramped up. Dallas has already reached out to Roy to express their
interest, according to Mavs expert Mike Fisher. Executives at the Warriors
and Timberwolves have already admitted that they plan to reach out to the
three-time All-Star. Other teams linked in reports to Roy include the Bulls
and Pacers.
