[外電] Rockets interested in "small deal" for Heat's Williams
Though the Miami Heat are working the phones hard to remake themselves, the
offer of point guard Jason Williams' expiring $8.9 million contract is for now
not in simple one-for-one deals.
For at least another month, Pat Riley and Randy Pfund are more likely to use
that chip as part of a larger deal. Though Williams is even more of a
defensive liability than he used to be, many teams, including the Houston
Rockets, would likely be interested if Williams could be had in a small deal.
