[外電] Miami Heat's Wright likely out additional three weeks
Heat forward Dorell Wright will likely be sidelined an additional three weeks
after having follow-up surgery to his left knee Monday.
Wright underwent a 45-minute procedure to clean out loose cartilage in the knee
. Wright originally had surgery to repair a meniscus tear in the knee March 3,
which ended his 2007 season.
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said the follow-up surgery became necessary after
rehabilitation the past few weeks caused more swelling. Wright played briefly
in the Oct. 31 home opener but has been inactive the past few weeks.
Wright recently said he tried to come back too soon from surgery and that his
eagerness to play led to a few setbacks.
