Rookie Michael Beasley thought he was through with homework when he left
Kansas State after one season.
But Spoelstra recently gave Beasley two books,
Outliers and The Last Lecture, to read on plane rides.
Both books have strong motivational and philosophical themes.

Beasley joked Friday, with the books sitting inside his locker.
