Debate, if you will, whether change is good. What can't be debated, however, is the stark lack of change this offseason by Pat Riley and the Heat. How stark? Only two of the NBA's 30 teams have failed to acquire a veteran from another team this offseason. Joining the Heat in that group is the Jazz. Every other team, for better or worse, has added at least one player from another team. A look at how the Heat (doesn't) stack up in that regard, listing top veterans acquired by the NBA's 30 teams Atlanta: Jamal Crawford. Boston: Rasheed Wallace. Charlotte: Tyson Chandler. Chicago: Jannero Pargo. Cleveland: Shaquille O'Neal, Jamario Moon, Anthony Parker. Dallas: Shawn Marion, Drew Gooden, Tim Thomas. Denver: Arron Afflalo, Malik Allen. Granted, there is plenty of time remaining before the Oct. 28 start of the regular season. And, granted, it's not as if the meager gains of the Bulls, Nuggets, Warriors, Timberwolves, Knicks, Thunder or Kings add up to much.
