The Heat had been interested in acquiring Roger Mason, but ultimately balked
at adding salary.
The Spurs were hoping to tempt Miami into absorbing Mason's $3.8 million
expiring contract into a $4.3 million trade exception that would have enabled
the teams to complete a deal without San Antonio needing to take back another
player. A future second-round pick from the Heat would have completed the
transaction.
Miami's trade exception, acquiring during last year's Shawn Marion/Jermaine
O'Neal trade with Toronto, expired on Monday.
火火原本對馬刺的Mason有興趣，馬刺希望用火火未來第二輪選秀權來交換，
但火火礙於薪資上限，作罷。
