[外電] Mourning, Gay Among NBA Group In Haiti
Alonzo Mourning and Rudy Gay arrived in Haiti on Saturday as part of a group of
relief workers.
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra is part of the contingent as well.
They will help in the earthquake-ravaged city of Port-au-Prince by presenting a
$25,000 check from the Heat to Project Medishare and by handing out tents and
other equipment to families in need.
"When it happened back in January, it was such a tragedy, immediately everybody
in the organization wanted to do something," Spoelstra said. "When the season
was over, we didn't want to forget."
