ESPN's Marc Stein reports that the Rockets have signed Samuel Dalembert to a
two-year deal.
That didn't take long. Just a few minutes after the Kings announced they had
withdrawn their offer to Dalembert, the reason for Sacramento's announcement
became clear. Details on the contract have been inconsistent, but Adrian
Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports that Dalembert has a $7 million deal for
2011-12 and a $7 million team option (with a $1.5 million buyout) for
2012-13. Once up to speed, Dalembert should take over as Houston's starting
center and is worth owning in all leagues. Meanwhile, any fantasy value that
Jordan Hill might have had is now shot.
