Pat Riley explains decision to trade first-round pick by Ethan J. Skolnick Pat Riley met with the media after the draft ended — and after our newspaper deadlines. Here, first, is some of his more interesting commentary about the draft, with his thoughts on current players coming in the next blog: – Riley said that he chose to “defer our pick and our asset to next year.
