Point guard Chauncey Billups has agreed to a multiyear deal with the Detroit
Pistons, a source confirmed to ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard.

His contract agreement was earlier reported by Yahoo! Sports.
A ruptured Achilles tendon limited him to 20 games in the 2011-12 season. He
played in just 22 games last season for the Los Angeles Clippers as he came
back from the Achilles injury and dealt with various other injuries.

Last month in an interview with ESPN First Take, however, he said, "I feel

was traded to the Denver Nuggets during the 2008-09 season in a deal that
brought Allen Iverson to the Motor City.
