Hali: Yeah, we just came to the timeout and said, “Yo, we’ve been here before.
Nobody panic. Let’s just walk it down.” I always try to look at things. I thi
nk we as a group try to look at if it’s 15, let’s get it to 10. If we get to f
ive, make it a two possession game. We trust ourselves more than we trust anybod
y else. Aaron just—every shot he made, it just kept giving us more confidence.
And uh, I didn’t even realize how hot he was until, like, it just kept going in
and then we knew that’s like a two-point game there. And so we miss one, knew
there’d be an opportunity.

Hali: Yeah, that moment. I was like—this is my KD moment right here. Right? Foo
t’s on the line. I thought for sure I got back.

Miller: When you like pointed at me and started doing it, I’m like, “Oh god”
My phone started blowing up and all the celebrities started looking at me like
“It’s your fault.” Like how is it my fault?
Miller：當你對我指著然後開始做那個動作時，我心想「完了」。我手機立刻開始瘋狂響，
所有名人都看著我說「是你害的」。這到底干我屁事啦？XD
Hali: Man, in the moment it just felt it was the right time. From there, my ment
ality shifted. We cannot lose this game now, ‘cause if I break out that celebra
tion and we lose the game, then it’ll be a problem.
Hali： 老實說，當下我就覺得那個時機剛剛好。從那一刻起，我的心態也變了：我們現在
不能輸這場比賽。因為如果我做了那個慶祝動作，結果我們輸球，那就真的糗大了。
Miller: What makes this great is the matchup between you and Jalen Brunson, two
young point guards. How’s that been?
Miller：這系列最精彩的部分之一就是你和Jalen Brunson的對決，兩位年輕控衛的對抗。
你怎麼看？
Hali: I mean, we’re alphas. We want to be the best, right? And so when our name
s are always in the same conversation and now we’re here battling to bring our
teams to the NBA Finals, I think that you’re going to see some competition and
you’re going to see the best in both of us and that’s what everybody wants to
see. Me and Jalen, as much as I hate to say it, we’re friends. You know what I
mean? Like, we are friends. We text each other throughout the season, but when
we step on the floor and especially in a time like right now, there’s not much
conversation to be had. I think to be the best, you have to beat the best. And J
alen has been amazing, willing his team to get to where they are. I think that
’s why I’m excited to compete against him on an every night basis.
Hali： 我們都是那種想要成為最強者的人。當我們的名字常常一起被提起，然後現在又在
這裡為了帶領各自的球隊打進總決賽而拚搏，我覺得大家會看到真正的競爭，也會看到我們
彼此最好的表現。說實話，雖然這時間點我不太願意承認，但我跟Jalen是朋友。我們賽季
中會互傳訊息，不過一旦踏上球場，尤其是像現在這種時刻，就不會多說什麼了。想要成為
最強，就得擊敗最強。Jalen帶領他的球隊走到這裡，真的很厲害。這也是為什麼我很期待
每場比賽跟他對決。
Miller: Something I was never able to do—it haunts me to this day—is bringing
a chip to Indiana. What would that mean to you?
Miller：有件事我這輩子都沒能做到，至今仍讓我難以釋懷，就是把冠軍帶到印第安納。對
你來說，那會意味著什麼？
Hali: Man, it would—it would mean the world. So, I’m in the Indy500 parade and
I was sitting in the car and I was looking around and I was like, “This is so
many people. If we won a championship, you could probably double this, triple it
, you know, like this would be ridiculous.” And I remember sitting there like,
“It has to happen.” Said all year, our goal is to win a championship. And I th
ink people heard me say that early in the year like, “Yeah, right, right, right
. Get out of here.” But we’re seven away and we’re just trying to take it a d
ay at a time because we know how special that could feel at the end.
Hali： 哇，那對我來說會是全世界。我在參加Indy 500遊行的時候，坐在車上環顧四周，
我心想：「這也太多人了吧。如果我們贏得總冠軍，人數可能會是現在的兩倍、三倍，簡直
太誇張了。」我當時坐在那裡心裡想：「這一定要實現。」我整個賽季都在說，我們的目標
是奪冠。我知道年初我這麼講時，很多人心裡都在想「好啦好啦，你別鬧了」。但現在我們
只差七場勝利，我們只能一天一天來，因為我們知道，最後那種感覺會有多特別。
