Steve Kerr went in on Dillon Brooks in the postgame:
"We just saw a guy on their team literally punch Steph in the stomach,
premeditated, punches him in the stomach, no ejection for that... two nights
later, refs got upset with some words from Draymond(and ejected him), I
totally disagree."
"This is a guy who broke Gary's elbow in the playoffs, clotheslining him with
one of the dirtiest plays i've ever seen."
"Apparently you are now allowed to premeditate a punch of any shooter who's
left defenseless, you can now take a swing at him and know you're just gonna
get a flagrant 1, so I dunno, maybe we'll do that, but probably not."
Steve Kerr於賽後火力全開抨擊Dillon Brooks：
「我們親眼目睹他們隊上有個傢伙，蓄意揮拳揍在Steph Curry的肚子上，就是蓄意攻擊
結果卻沒有驅逐出場……結果才隔兩天，裁判卻因為Draymond Green說了幾句話就不高興
，然後就把他驅逐出場，我完全無法認同這種判罰尺度。」
「這傢伙之前在季後賽就弄斷了Gary Payton II的手肘，當時他用鎖喉撂倒對方的動作，
是我看過最骯髒的球員之一。」
「顯然現在的規則允許只要是預謀好，你就可以針對毫無防備的射手蓄意揮拳攻擊他，最
多也就領個一級惡意犯規。所以我也不知道該說什麼，或許我們之後也會這麼做，但應該
不會啦。」
