Kareem wanted a full time position with the Lakers to work with him (and other bigs) but management never agreed. -他跟Kareem一起訓練了幾次，Kareem想要在湖人工作然後與他(以及其他人)一起訓練，但湖人管理層從沒同意過。 -Magic told Zu he’d be disappointed in him if he wasn’t summer league MVP on a team with Ingram/Lonzo/Kuzma/Hart -魔術強森告訴Zu如果他不是夏季聯賽MVP他會很失望。而當時湖人夏季聯賽隊上有Ingram/ Lonzo/Kuzma/Hart。 -Magic said they’d decline his third year option after promising his agent they’d pick it up. It was Zu’s first real nba game in 2 years. Magic said he wanted 15/10/3 from him.
