The Golden State Warriors saw their 2025-26 season come to an end Friday night
with a 111-96 loss to the Phoenix Suns in the Play-In Tournament, but Stephen
Curry still added a notable milestone to his résumé.

on X following the game. “Stephen Curry is now the leading scorer in play-in-
tournament history.”

The achievement came on a difficult night for Curry, who struggled to find his
rhythm against Phoenix. The 38-year-old finished with 17 points, four rebound
s, four assists and two steals, but also committed four turnovers. He shot 4-f
or-16 from the field and 3-for-10 from beyond the arc while converting all six
of his free-throw attempts across 36 minutes.

and 7-for-12 from three-point range.
