Mike Bibby:
Hawks point guard Mike Bibby sat out Monday's game with a
strained right oblique muscle.
He could return on Wednesday but more likely
will wait until next Saturday.
Acie Law will continue to start while Bibby is sidelined.
It sounds like he'll be fine for opening day,
but his sitting out in the preseason doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
Marvin Williams:
Hawks forward Marvin Williams left Monday's game after
spraining his thumb in the second quarter.
He didn't return for the second half,
and hopefully it isn't anything too serious...
we should have an update sometime on Tuesday.
If Williams does miss any exhibitions,
current sixth-man Maurice Evans would have an increased role.
