The Nets have bought out the final season of Alston's contract, the Newark
Star-Ledger reports.
Recommendation: The Cavs are reportedly interested in his services, but at
this point it looks like Miami may be a more likely landing spot for the
veteran point guard.

with Pierce on their roster should be sure to activate him for Wednesday's
action.
