JaVale McGee was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his left tibia on Sunday and is out indefinitely. The fracture could keep him out for a while and he won't have a timetable to return. McGee was off to a slow start, playing in just 16.0 minutes per game for 7.0 points, 3.4 boards and 1.4 blocks. The Nuggets have been using guys like J.J. Hickson and Anthony Randolph at center with McGee not playing much, but Timofey Mozgov is the most likely to take over as the starting center. It's hard to get too attached to the idea of picking up Mozgov for his lack of talent, so Hickson and Randolph might be better pickups for now. It makes sense to cut McGee in most leagues. If you're looking for a big-man pickup, it would seem the order should go Hickson, Anthony Randolph, then Mozgov. Kenneth Faried also gains a lot of value with this news.
