There’s a new No. 1 in the Baseball America College Baseball Top 25 rankings.
Following a perfect week and a stumble from previous No. 1 Tennessee, Arkansas emerged as the top team in college baseball. The Razorbacks were one of six teams (Arkansas, LSU, Clemson, Louisville, Vanderbilt and Kansas) to produce perfect weeks.
While no group went winless, two (Georgia and Oklahoma) recorded losing records. Three teams—Dallas Baptist (20-11; 5-4 Conference USA), Southern Mississippi (22-10; 8-4 Sun Belt) and Virginia Tech (22-10; 9-6 ACC)—fell out of the Top 25.
No. 20 Georgia Tech, No. 24 TCU and No. 25 Western Kentucky joined the Top 25. Georgia Tech and Western Kentucky are making their Top 25 debuts this year while TCU returns for the first time since Week 3.
