前溫網冠軍Krajicek('96 championship)在大會公布籤表後幾小時
打完荷蘭的ordina open首輪敗陣後
宣布因傷(不明)退賽...。唉...
詳細新聞如下:
Krajicek misses Wimbledon
Former Wimbledon champion Richard Krajicek has withdrawn from the
tournament just hours after the draw was made.
The Dutchman pulled out with an unspecified injury, tournament referee
Alan Mills announced.
Krajicek won the tournament in 1996 and reached the last eight in 2002.
He has been drawn to play a qualifier in the first round and faced a
likely second-round match against defending champion and top seed Lleyton
Hewitt of Australia.
Krajicek announced his withdrawal announced shortly after he lost 6-4
7-6 (7/4) to Olivier Mutis in the first round of the Ordina Open.
Tommy Haas will miss Wimbledon as he continues his recovery from a
shoulder injury.
The German player has not played this year because of the problem.
The 25-year-old had surgery on his right shoulder in December and keeps
delaying his comeback.
He said he no longer felt any pain but could still not serve properly.
Haas now hopes to be back in action in an ATP event in Stuttgart starting
on 14 July.
