What a fantastic week! 25-02-2004
That week in Antwerp went by too fast. To me, that really is the nicest
tournament of the year. I know a lot of people there and everybody is so kind.
The atmosphere and the crowd are unique. There's no comparison to other
tournaments.
Other players share that experience. Entering the court with music and your
name being announced, you don't have that very often. The Proximus Diamond
Games are focused on the players and elsewhere that can be different.
This week I'll be the housewife! I already did a lot: cleaning, polishing,
washing, shopping... It's great to relax after two busy weeks. Yesterday I
felt somewhat down: I had a bit of a cold and felt tired, but today I already
feel much better.
All the better, for today it's Lleyton's birthday. Fancy cake for the whole
family. I have made Lleyton breakfast as well, but then again, I do so every
morning! We are happy to be in our own place now and not in some hotel room
any longer.
This week, I'll be doing a new photoshoot for the summer line of Hampton Bays.
And this weekend, Marc is getting married! I went to the gym today, but no
tennis for the time being, only at the end of the week. Unless Lleyton would
like to start earlier, I might play along then.
I can't believe the speed at which our match in Bree at 17 April has been sold
out. I hope not too many fans will be disappointed for not having a ticket.
However, they can still come to the Fed Cup one week later, fun guaranteed!
And another big Thank You for your gigantic support at the Antwerp Sportpaleis!
