Clijsters out of Wimbledon
Belgian Kim Clijsters will not compete at Wimbledon because of a long-term
wrist injury.
The world number two was also forced to pull out of the French Open after
failing to recover from a torn tendon.
"Now a cyst has developed on the wrist that means that we can kiss Wimbledon
goodbye, " her coach Marc Dehous told VRT radio.
Clijsters had been in good form until her injury, winning back-to-back
tournments in Paris and Antwerp.
