Hello everyone,
We haven't spoken for a while, but I want to talk about the exploits of
Justine at Roland Garros. During these super two weeks Justine made us
vibrate with excitement, from the beginning to the end. It was a new
challenge for us. We wanted to know if there was still a place, and where
Justine stood among the best in the world. I believe that she has proven what
we already knew deep in the bottom of our hears.
The victory was as beautiful as the first; but it was less about over flowing
emotions. It was more about the value of our long term work and relationship.
From the quarterfinals Justine showed that her adversaries cannot expect to
beat her with nothing less than excellence; yet she showed us something
extraordinary from within that won the battle.
After the final Justine celebrated her Roland Garros victory in high mood.
I'm writing this from the airport, as we make our way over to Wimbledon. I
will give and expect the maximum from Justine as her coach. We will go as far
as possible in Wimbledon.
I'll send another greeting to all after Wimbledon.
