David Wright was named the fourth captain in the team’s history, joining John Franco, Keith Hernandez and Gary Carter. Wright成為梅子隊史第四位隊長前三位依序是：Gary Carter、Keith Hernandez、John Franco Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter and White Sox first baseman Paul Konerko are the only other active designated “captains” in the major leagues.
