Jeff Karstens will make just his third start of the season and first against the Orioles on Tuesday at Yankee Stadium. His last start was on April 28 against Boston, when the first batter of that game, Julio Lugo, shot a line drive off Karstens' right leg, fracturing the right-hander's right fibula.
