[新聞] Giambi impresses Girardi
The Yankees avoided the rain in the area and got their workout in. It was a
standard spring training day: they worked on two fields on relays and
cutoffs, did some individual defensive drills and finished off with batting
practice.
Watched Jason Giambi hit and he was going the other way or up the middle with
everything. Joe Girardi said he has been impressed with how good Giambi has
looked this spring. As he said, if Giambi proves he can play first base it
gives the Yankees a lot more flexibility in terms of their roster and their
lineup.
But with the Big G, it's always about whether he can stay healthy and none of
us can predict that with any degree of certainty. But he sure looked good on
Feb. 26.
大意就是說 新教頭Girardi對於大吉目前的狀況感到相當的滿意。另外也提到假如大吉
可以證明能守備一壘，那麼洋基在調度上會有更多的空間。
不過大吉的健康狀況一直是個問題，但是他目前看起來狀況相當的好。
