[農場] Yankees have a lot of good second baseman in the minors
Let’s start from the top.
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees
Kevin Russo – .302 batting average, 16 runs, .383 OBP. I know he was
called up but let’s look at the Yankee minor league players as a whole.
Trenton Thunder
David Adams – .318 batting average, 24 runs, 69 total bases which leads
Trenton hitters and a .379 OBP
Tampa Yankees
Corban Joseph – .308 batting average, 14 runs, 59 total bases which leads
Tampa hitters and a .357 OBP.
Charleston RiverDogs
Jimmy Paredes – .274 batting average, 19 runs which leads the RiverDogs,
45 total bases, .301 OBP.
Jimmy Parades is the weakest of the bunch but he’s all the way down in
A ball. The Yankees’ second baseman are the top hitters on each of their
teams or very near close to being near the top. The Yankees have done a good
job developing second baseman but with Robinson Cano, who’s young and going
to be at second base for a long time perhaps, what to do with these young up
and coming second baseman? Probably use them in trades.
