Jeter's out-of-thin-air flip play to Jorge Posada, with the Yankees clinging to a 1-0 lead in a do-or-die Game 3 of the 2001 ALDS, is the most magical moment of his career. 2.Mr. November Oct. 31/Nov. 1, 2001: Jeter earns one of his lasting nicknames with a walk-off homer just past midnight in Game 4 of the Fall Classic, the first time baseball that counts had ever been played in November. 3.The Dive July 1, 2004: Nothing says courage like Jeter's dive into the old Stadium stands in the top of the 12th inning against the Red Sox.
