The Yankees announced three player moves this afternoon.
‧ LHP Aaron Laffey was claimed off waivers by Kansas City.
‧ LHP Raul Valdes elected free agency in lieu of being outrighted off the
Major League roster.
‧ RHP Scott Proctor also elected free agency in lieu of being outrighted.
The Yankees 40-man roster now stands at 37 with Boone Logan as the only
left-handed reliever. Laffey and Valdes were added as late-season left-handed
depth.
