[外電] Yanks to sign former Mets RHP Maine

The Yankees will be sign right-hander John Maine to a Minor League deal, a
baseball source told MLB.com.
Maine, 31, was released by the Red Sox on good terms two weeks ago. He signed
with Boston in January. He has not pitched in the Minors this season, and last
pitched in the Majors in 2010, with the Mets. He is said to be in good health
after undergoing shoulder surgery in 2010.
The Yankees have not commented on their plans to sign Maine, who has been
working out with them since parting ways with the Red Sox.
Maine is 41-36 with a 4.35 ERA in 108 career Major League appearances, 105 of
them starts.
