Questions for Rafa: giving up tennis, biting trophies, playing McEnroe 給Rafa的問題：放棄網球？咬獎盃？跟McEnroe比賽？說是說要休息，不過下雨等便當中，發現這一篇實在很好笑(其實是被標題騙了，看到一些關鍵字都會心跳加快哎)，這些球迷想的問題還真多真有趣，真是太有創意了。XDD Has there ever been a moment when you wanted to give up tennis, especially during everyday practice sessions which must be boring and tiring at times? How do you get through that? Harriet, Bedford Harriet Bedford問；你是否曾經想過要放棄網球，尤其是你每天日常練習網球，應該有時候會感到無趣跟疲憊？你如何克服這些想法？ Rafa: No, I have always enjoyed tennis. Sure you have bad moments but I never think like that. Rafa答：不，我總是非常享受網球。當然你會有一些不好的時刻，但是我從未想過放棄。 Are you a rough sleeper, meaning you usually wake up with your sheets, pillows ,and hair all messed up? Rafa答：是的 (編按心得：好個誠實的男孩，請問你晚上都在跟魔王戰鬥嗎？) How does it feel to be doing so well at Wimbledon /Veronica Romm Veronica Romm問：在溫布頓有這麼好的成績感覺如何？ Rafa: It feels great but there is one more match to go. I am the same as last year but with more experience. Rafa答：當然感覺很棒，不過我還有一場比賽要打。我還是跟去年一樣只是多了一些比賽經驗。 Why do you bite your trophies when you win them? /Jacqueline Gilzene Jacqueline Gilzene問：為什麼你贏下冠軍後要咬獎盃啊？ (不解貌) Rafa: I started when I won the first one and I just keep on doing it. Something like a brand mark? Rafa答：當我贏得第一個獎盃時就這樣作了，而且一直到現在我還持續這個習慣。也許這有點像是一種註冊商標？ (編按心得：Rafa就是要咬盃盃才可愛啊，要繼續咬喔 XDD) What is it that your Uncle Toni has done and continues to do that supports and inspires you so? Claire Packham Claire Packham問：請問你的Toni叔叔從以前到現在都是作些什麼事來支持你及鼓勵你？ Rafa: Lot of things everyday. He is a wise person and I know he will always be there for me. Rafa答：每天叔叔都作了很多事情。他是一個很有智慧的人，而且我知道他會為了我一直陪在我身邊。 (編按心得：大魔王幹得好，要繼續喔。XDD (給你一個大姆指)) When you are on the tour, who looks after all your kit? Typically, going to a grand slam, how many tops/shorts/shoes do you take? Sophie Sophie問：當你在巡迴比賽時，誰替你準備你的生活用品？而在每一個大滿貫期間，你你通常都會帶幾件櫬衫、褲子跟幾雙鞋？ Rafa: Nike brings me the kit I need and a number of everything, shirts, shorts, shoes, etc. If I am running short they always have some extra stuff. There is a guy called Roy who is a great, great guy that is always there ready. Roy is simply the best. Rafa答：Nike會替我準備我所需要的每一樣東西。他們總是會額外多準備一些以防不夠。 Roy是一個盡責的人，他總是準備好每一樣我需要的東西。Roy是最棒的。 Is renting a house unique to Wimbledon /Lynn, Surrey Surrey Lynn問：你是只在溫布頓期間租房子嗎？ Rafa: Wimbledon is the only time I do this. During the tournament, but after you've played a game, how do you spend your evening or your time to allow you to switch off? RAFAEL NADAL: You never know, no? I have a house here. Easier for everything. 這是June 21 的賽前訪問，奇怪了，這意思是租屋還是買屋啊？) This is a rather personal question. When you go for a toilet break during a match, how close do the officials have to get? Is there a way for players to give feedback to make sure the umpires are professional? Anna, Brisbane Brisbane Anna問：球員在球賽中對裁判的判決能夠有意見嗎？球員有任何管道可以反應去確定裁判夠不後專業？ Rafa: We can always talk to the ATP Tour Manager or Supervisor and complain. I have only done it once. I think they do a good job in general. Rafa答：我們能跟ATP賽會管理員跟指導員討論跟抱怨。我只曾經有過一次抱怨。我認為裁判們都大致上做得很好。 Which retired player would you most like to play? / Katie, Kettering Kettering Katie問：你最想要跟那一個已退休的球員比賽？ Rafa: I practiced with John McEnroe the other day. Rafa答：只是游泳，也許會做些別的運動，而且我最喜歡待在船上。 (編按心得：召喚好心人，go on the boat 有別的意思嗎？ ) Do you think that one reason why fans feel a special connection with you is because many of them have either watched your uncle during his football days?
