Day 1 Mon. 21st June,2010 It's great to be back - I hope this blog brings me luck 能回來真是太棒了 - 我希望這個部落格能帶給我好運 Hello everyone, 大家好 Hope you all are well. I am back at Wimbledon, well last year I also came but I could not play. Remember I came to play an exhibition to try and test how I was feeling and then decided I could not play. It was partly tough since the decision was not tough to take. I was not healthy and I could not play. So the tough part was to know I could not play to defend the title. 希望你們都很好。我回到溫布頓，去年我也有來，但我卻無法比賽。記得我來打了幾場表演賽測試自己感覺如何，最後決定我無法比賽。下此決定比要實踐它要困難些。我有傷在身所以無法比賽。因此困難的地方是在於瞭解我無法捍衛這個衛冕冠軍頭銜。 But I like to think positive and look ahead. I am here at Wimbledon again, practicing well, happy and ready to play, You never know how things can go, because this is THE tournament and every player entering the draw wants to win it. There are many factors, many things that can happen. 但我喜歡正面思考並且向前看。我再一次回到溫布頓，練習狀況良好，很開心並準備好要比賽。你永遠不知道事情會如何變化，因為這是溫布頓，並且每個在籤表上的球員都想要奪冠。會有許多因素、很多事情會發生。 Hopefully things will go well. If they do great, and if not I know I have many more years to come back. I am really looking forward to tomorrow’s match since it’s been since you know when that I haven’t played here… I am very excited about it believe me and I am looking forward very much to seeing all the fans as we enter the center court. 先讓我說說我對於能夠再次參加溫布頓有多開心。你們知道的，我已經很久沒有在這裡比賽，我真的很期待明天的比賽。相信我，我很興奮並且期待走進中央球場見到所有的球迷。 I was informed today that I was playing on Center Court and I was very happy about it. It is no secret that I love to play here and I love this tournament with that great atmosphere on Center. I am also happy for the World Cup and Spain finally winning that match against Honduras. We watched it all at the house. I love football and to see Spain winning is also something that motivates me. 今天我被通知要在中央球場比賽，對此我非常開心。我熱愛在這裡比賽並不是個秘密，我喜愛在溫布頓中央球場比賽的絕佳氛圍。我也很開心西班牙在世界杯中最終能在對宏都拉斯的比賽時取得勝利。我們都在屋裡觀看比賽。我熱愛足球，並且能看到西班牙贏球也是我的動力。 And I did see Roger’s match on TV. I know this question comes so I prefer to just say it, I always say when asked about the tournaments, the draws, the final before even having played the first round that today’s tennis and the competition is very, very tough. Roger’s match was an example. Falla played great tennis and there are no easy matches here. I always say it when asked in the first round about a potential final… We go round after round, each match is important and difficult. 我也有看Roger的比賽轉播。我知道這個問題一定會出現，所以我寧可先說，當被問到賽事結果、籤表、決賽等問題，即使只是在第一輪比賽，我總是說現今的網球與競爭是非常非常激烈的。Roger的比賽就是一個例子。Falla打出很棒的網球，而且在這裡是不會有輕鬆的比賽。當在第一輪被問到關於決賽的可能時，我一直這麼說。我們要一輪一輪地前進，每一場比賽都是重要且困難的。 I am playing on Tuesday my first round against a very good player and it won't be easy. 星期二我要進行我第一輪的比賽，對手是一個非常棒的球員，比賽將不輕鬆。 Thanks 謝謝 Rafa Day 3 Tue. 22nd June,2010 Wimbledon is such a beautiful place to place tennis 溫布頓真是打網球的美麗地方 Hello everyone, 大家好 I am writing this blog this year again from the house I rented in Wimbledon. Have to say that since I stay here the tournament is much better for me. 今年再次在溫布頓的租屋裡寫這個部落格。我必須說，自從待在這裡，這個賽事對我來說更棒了。 I used to stay in the city at a hotel but in the last 5 years (except last year, obviously) I am staying at a rented house next to the courts. That really is a big difference. Big change and much better. I really feel like home like this. As a matter of fact we do everything that you would do home. Cook, clean (that’s the worst I suppose), …. 以前我習慣住在市區的飯店，但過去五年(顯然除了去年之外)我都住在球場旁邊的租屋。那真的有很大的不同。是很大的改變而且是更好的改變。我真的覺得在這裡就像在家裡一樣。事實上，我們在這裡能做一切在家裡能做的事情。下廚、打掃(我想那是最糟糕的) ，.... (一整個很不愛打掃XD) But changing subject, let me tell you that this club is simply amazing. Today I went to one of the roofs and had the chance to see the club. It is beautiful and we are very privileged to come and play at this place. 但換個話題，告訴你們這個俱樂部(指全英俱樂部)真是太棒了。今天我到其中一個屋頂上面，有機會欣賞了俱樂部的全貌。很漂亮，而且我們能在這裡打球真是太幸運了。 Rafa Day 4 Fri. 25th June,2010 An extra long sleep ... and I missed the Queen! 額外長時間的睡眠...而且我錯過女王了！ Hi everyone, 大家好 Let me start today this post by saying that I only got the questions last night when I was already asleep. That is the reason why there was no blog last night. Sorry for that. I know that I was supposed to do it this morning but I didn’t have time today since after I woke up and had my breakfast had to go to practice. 首先我得說之所以昨天沒有寫部落格，是因為直到我要睡覺前才收到球迷的問題。對此我感到很抱歉。我知道今天早上我應該完成它，但今天我沒有時間，因為我起床用過早餐之後，我就必須去練球。 I normally try to sleep more than usual if I am playing in the afternoon or late afternoon. That way the day is not that long and I don’t get tired before the match. A question of routine. And because of that routine I missed meeting the Queen Elizabeth today. I would have loved to and they’ve told me she would be at my match, so I was really looking forward to meeting her at the end of the match. Unfortunately, Her Majesty left and I missed the opportunity. Hopefully another time I will have the honor and chance to do so. 一般來說，如果我下午或傍晚有比賽的話，我會睡得比平常要久些。這樣這一天就不會那麼長，而且在賽前才不會覺得疲倦。而關於例行公事的問題。因為例行練習，所以我錯失今天和伊莉莎白女王見面的機會。我很高興他們告訴我女王會來看我的比賽，所以我真的很期待賽後能跟她見面。可惜的是，她提前離開了，我錯過這個機會。希望以後我有這榮幸跟機會能跟她見面。 Coming back to my match, I’d said before how difficult is to play here at Wimbledon against great servers. Well, it was a very tough match today and I was really pushed to the limits. Thankfully it went well. 談回我的比賽，我之前就說過在溫布頓對戰發球好手會有多辛苦。Well，今天是場艱辛的比賽，而且我真的快被逼到極限。幸好結果是好的。 Tomorrow a day off, some practice and then concentration to see Spain play in the Word Cup… 明天是休息日，我會做些練習，之後要專心看西班牙隊在世界杯的比賽。 Thanks all 謝謝大家 Rafa Day 5 Sat. 26th June,2010 If Spain don't win, I'm backing England 如果西班牙不能贏得世界杯，我會支持英格蘭。 Hi everyone, 大家好 I am writing this blog before going to sleep and very happy after seeing Spain qualify for the next round at the World Cup. I have been asked several times about my favorite teams and obviously after Spain i have to say that I like England. Would love to see them do something important if Spain doesn’t make it to the final. The reason I have for this apart from the fact that I like the team and that I like the style of British football, I think they deserve also a big win. For what they give to the sport and the time that they haven’t won something big, I really would like them to go far in the tournament. But obviously I want first Spain to win. 睡前來寫部落格，很高興看到西班牙能挺進世界杯下一輪。關於我最喜歡的球隊這問題，我已經被問了好多遍，很明顯地，除了西班牙之外，英格蘭隊是我其次喜歡的。如果西班牙無法踢進決賽，我會很樂意看到英格蘭有好表現。原因是我喜歡這支球隊，而且我喜歡英國足球的風格。我認為他們值得贏下重大賽事。因為他們為足球付出了很多卻沒有贏得什麼大比賽，我真的希望他們能在世界杯走得很遠。但顯然的，我最希望西班牙獲勝。 My day today was kind of quiet. Practice at noon, easy and good practice, watched Portugal and Brazil match while I was getting some stretching from my physio Rafael Maymo, some play station matches with my partner in this tournament Benito (we are killing Maymo and Albert Molina) and then a bit of rest before watching Spain play. So that’s a typical day for me here at Wimbledon this year. Lots of tennis and even more football. 我今天過得很平靜。中午練球，簡單且高質量的練習，和我的防護員Rafael Maymo一起在做伸展的時候，看了葡萄牙跟巴西的比賽，和Benito一隊打了幾場PS遊戲 (我們痛宰了 Maymo和Albert Molina)，之後在西班牙比賽前小憩一下。是我今年在溫布頓時很典型的一天，充滿了網球跟更多的足球。 Tomorrow another important match for me, with the will to be again in the second week of Wimbledon. We’ll see. Nothing easy. 明天又是一場重要的比賽，希望再次進入溫布頓第二週的賽程。拭目以待。一切都不會容易。 Many thanks. 非常謝謝 Rafa Day 6 Sun. 27th June,2010 No pasta for me after yesterday's long match 在昨晚漫長的比賽後我沒有吃義大利麵 Hi everyone, 大家好 Sorry but last night I could not post anything since I got back to my house and we decided to go out for dinner to the city. I had not done it all week so my team was kind of tired of eating always my pasta… So we went almost straight from the end of the work with media etc to my favorite restaurant in London. You have heard many times about it, El Cambio de Tercio. I was so happy for yesterday’s win that I just said, OK, let’s go wherever you guys want! 很抱歉但昨晚我沒更新任何東西，因為我回到住處後，我們決定到市區吃晚餐。整週我都沒有這麼做，因此我的團隊有點吃膩了我做的義大利麵。所以我在結束工作，像是媒體訪問這些後，就立刻到我在倫敦最喜歡的餐廳，你們已經聽我說過這間餐廳很多次了，是 El Cambio de Tercio。因為昨天贏球我很高興，所以我就說：OK，我們去任何你們想去的地方！ So we had a great dinner last night. Now I just woke up and I am going to go and hit a bit. Not much, since yesterday’s match was long and I also had the problem on my knee. I want to go and see how it feels today. I am not too worried, but it is there and I need to get the treatment once I finish this tournament. I would love to win it and then go for that treatment. Me? The knees are fine 很抱歉你們在世界杯不幸出局。我？膝蓋還好。 Hi everyone, 大家好 Hope you guys are OK. I am sorry (I really am) for England’s defeat at the World Cup. I did mention here and at Wimbledon that I really likes this team. I think it has been very unfortunate what happened today. I mean that mistake from the linesman and the referee is something unbelievable. I don’t understand why there is no way in football to have the 4th referee looking at a screen and saying to the main one what is going on. Just like the Hawk-Eye in tennis. Very simple, very easy. 希望你們都很好。我(真的)很遺憾英格蘭在世界杯被淘汰。我的確提到過我真的很喜歡這支球隊。我覺得英格蘭今天運氣非常差。我指的是線審跟主審的誤判讓人覺得不可置信。我不懂為何足球不能有第四個裁判負責觀看螢幕，並且告訴主審場上狀況。就像是網球場上的鷹眼系統。就是這樣，非常簡單。 With a mistake like this you are out of the World Cup, just like that! I don't think that’s fair. The match could have changed a lot with that goal. Then Germany played better but thats a different story. Then later in the day Mexico was also affected by a mistake that everyone saw, even at the stadium itself! Unbelievable. 因為這樣一個誤判，你們在世界杯出局了，像這樣的方式！我不認為那是公平的。那球若進球的話，比賽結果可能有很大的轉變。德國踢得比較好，但那又是另外一回事。之後墨西哥的比賽也被誤判影響了，每個人都看到這個誤判，甚至是在現場的觀眾！難以置信。 Anyway let’s talk about tennis because as I say I am here to play tennis and to play at Wimbledon. Got some questions today after my practice about my knee. It’s feeling better and I expect to be ready to play tomorrow. 總之談談網球吧，因為就像是我說的，我是來這裡打溫布頓的。在今天練習結束後被問到我的膝蓋。感覺好多了，而且我期待能為明天的比賽做好準備。 I have always been a very fair player and yesterday when I called the trainer I really needed him since I was in pain. I know there has been some controversy because of that but I don’t think it is fair. Like it was not fair the way the umpire gave me a warning for coaching. Toni was only saying to me to be positive and I don’t think that’s giving me any advice. So there you go.
