教練Roig賽後訪問： “Honestly, Rafa was playing very well," said Francois Roig, the coach accompanying Nadal in Doha, in l’Equipe: “Some of the best tennis in his life. And I’m not kidding. He was hitting from both sides, very complete. And something changed. He had a bad game in the second set and he never really recovered. It was easy and then, in the space of 10 minutes, everything got difficult. He wasn’t agonising, his attitude was good, but because he lacks match play everything gets magnified. Me, as a coach, I didn ’t expect that. But Rafa, yes. You know how he sometimes over-analyses." 「老實說Rafa打得很出色，幾乎是他生涯中最佳的表現，我不騙人，他在兩側的擊球都很優異，但之後一切都變了，在第二盤某局糟糕的表現後，就再也回不來了。但Rafa的態度很好，只是因為比賽還打得不夠多，缺點都被放大了。我身為教練並沒有預期到這種結果，但Rafa預期到了，他有時喜歡過度分析事情。」 Rafa賽後訪問簡譯： These things happen after [a] long time without being on the road, being on rhythm, being in competition. So I think I played a great first set, a lot of winners with my forehand, no mistakes. But at the end I had a bad game in the third one, fourth one of the second set. He break me. After that everything changed. He played well. I was playing with more nerves than usual after long time I wanted to win. I know that winning couple of matches here will help me. So that makes me play a little bit more under more tension. 第一盤是豆神在打球，第二盤被破之後就卡到陰了，太久沒比賽都會這樣，贏球的壓力特別大，讓我比平常更緊張 “You can see all the comebacks from a lot of players when they were injured from long time. The comebacks are tough; I’m not an exception. 每個球員復出時都有這問題，就算是復出達人也不例外 But now in my mind is practice well, try to be ready for Australia, but knowing that can happen that I gonna go to Australia and lose early.
