Notes: Biddle likes new role
Before this season, Rocky Biddle thought of himself as a starter and the
Expos' closer resisted any talk of him switching to the bullpen.
在這個球季之前 Biddle 仍覺得自己應該是個先發投手 來到了博覽會之後
因為 Zach Day 出色的表現使他贏得了第五號先發的地位 這樣一來 Biddle
不得不重新考慮是否要轉任救援投手
"Since I've come over here, I've realized the role I can play. I enjoy being
out there in crucial situations, which are usually at the end of a game."
Biddle說到:我知道我可以勝任這個角色 我喜歡再這種決定性的時刻出場
而這種時刻通常是要來結束一場比賽
Biddle現在擁有 14sv 在 NL 排名第三 並且帶有三勝一敗的戰績
"One of his first questions was, 'How do you feel about being a closer?' "
Biddle said. "My reaction was, 'I prefer being a starter, but I'll do whatever
it takes just to wear that Expos jersey.' "
他也說到他自己比較喜歡擔任先發的角色 但是穿上博覽會的球衣 他願意貢獻他所能做的
Biddle從先發轉任成救援似乎還算順利 而他自己也能適應這角色 或許這就是人的際遇吧
看看他之前的數據似乎先發對他來說不是挺理想的 Closer應該會是他的歸路
雖然說他的穩定度沒有像 Rivera,Smoltz 那麼穩 或許比他們倆容易被打安打
但是到最後 他大都能化解危機 幫球隊關門
今年是他第一年擔任closer 在經過幾年的洗禮 或許他也可以成為mlb中一流的closer!
