Third baseman Dustin Dickerson, drafted in the 15th round of the 2006
First-Year Player Draft, took batting practice with the Nationals on Friday
afternoon. He got off to a slow start, but started to hit line drives toward
the end.
Dickerson said he and Washington have not begun negotiating a professional
contract. He signed a letter of intent to go to Baylor University, but is
leaning toward playing Minor League baseball for the Nationals.
Dickerson 被BA評為今年高中明星第二隊，能守一壘與三壘。 在選秀前曾
拜訪過球場，但表示將會去念大學。Nats 今年在選秀碰運氣上用第十五輪
把 Dickerson 選下來，目前除他之外還有 Black、King、Gibson尚未談妥
條件，就看最近是否有好消息。
