[情報] Nationals release Tyler Walker
無條件釋出中繼投手 Tyler Walker。Walker 今年的ERA為 3.57，35局內送出了30K，表現
算是相當不錯，可惜6月時傷了右肩必須動手術導致整季報銷，因此 Walker 的健康狀況應
該就是促成球隊釋出他的主要原因。經過復健後 Walker 應該可以趕上明年的春訓， 不過
今年夏天時他也一度坦承退休也不失為是一種選擇。
The Nationals have unconditionally released right-hander reliever Tyler Walker,
a veteran who is currently rehabbing from major shoulder surgery. Walker, 34,
had a 3.57 ERA this season with 30 strikeouts in 35 innings. Many bullpen
teammates, particularly rookie Drew Storen, expressed gratitude for Walker's
willingness to offer advice and his generally positive demeanor.
Walker last pitched June 19, one appearance after he began feeling pain in
his right shoulder. Walker went on the disabled list and, upon further
diagnosis, realized he needed surgery to repair a torn labrum. After more
than six months of rehab, Walker could be ready to pitch by spring training.
This summer, he also acknowledged retirement could be an option.
