Nationals' LaRoche done for season

Washington Nationals first baseman Adam LaRoche(notes) has been on the
disabled list with a torn labrum in his left shoulder since late May. Nats
fans needn't keep wondering when he'll return this season because the
Washington Post reports that LaRoche will have season-ending surgery Thursday.

球迷也不用寄望他本季會回來了，因為Washington Post報導LaRoche週四
將會動刀而結束本賽季。
Nationals GM Mike Rizzo said LaRoche will be back next season even though,
the Post points out, "the extent of the injury and its rehabilitation are
unknown until LaRoche is under the knife."
In the 43 games he played this year, LaRoche batted .143 with three home
runs. Last year, he had 25 homers and batted .261.
"If all goes right," Rizzo said, according to the Post, "he will be 100
percent by the beginning of spring training next year."

程度的傷病和復健時間讓人無法了解，得等到LaRoche動過刀後才能得知。”
本季LaRoche出賽43場，打擊率0.143、3發全壘打。去年他打擊率0.261、25
