And he has the key to the World Cup Gold. Gullit told the viewers of Sky Sports that starting horrible is the way to success. “Don’t play good in the group stages. Win lousy 1-0 matches with defensive tactics. Do not show how good you are. Leave that for later in the knock out stages… History taught us that the champion always starts bad.” 「在小組賽階段不用踢的太好，採防守戰以1-0拿下勝利即可。隱藏實力等到淘汰賽再一舉發揮。歷史告訴我們冠軍總是一開始打的不好。」古力特說 Gullit uses some examples. “Holland played brilliant against Italy and France in the group stages in Switzerland at the EC2008 but was dramatic against Russia. It works against you. You win two games and everyone says: yep, we’re the new champs. And the sense of reality fades away.
