The trade deadline comes at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday, so prepare for rumors to
fly right up until then. Dave D’Alessandro says that Vince Carter is going
nowhere, because the Nets want to make the playoffs and they need their star
to do it. The Nets are also out of the running for Mike Miller and Jermaine O
’Neal. SI’s Marty Burns writes that the Nets have talked with the Nuggets
about sending Boki Nachbar and Jamaal Magloire to Denver for Nene.
