WASHINGTON - The final precincts have been heard from.
The Nets New Jersey Nets have a different team captain for the first time
since Jason Kidd Jason Kidd was elevated to the honor in 2001. And, as
expected, it's Vince Carter Vince Carter .
現在籃網有一個新的隊長了，他的名字叫 VC。
Hardly a shock, but coach Lawrence Frank kept it a guarded secret in the a.m.
so he told the results of the voting before the Nets opened their season here
against the Wizards.
雖然不意外，但是法禿卻一直當做個祕密保守，直到開幕戰前夕才
揭露投票結果。
"We'll have leadership by committee, but Vince is the captain," Frank said.
"(There's) kind of a cross-section of guys on the team. They'll meet and talk
about things. It's one of those things where you don't want slippage...Vince
is the captain, but it's everyone's team. Everyone has to take the
responsibility.
我們整個團隊都會有領導特質，但是卡特是隊長。
整隊有不同的特性的球員，他們會在一起討論該如何做到最好。
但有一見事情你不會想不見到。 Carter 是隊長，但這是每一個人的球隊，
每個人都有自己的責任。
"Unofficially, in the past it was like Kidd-Carter-Jefferson. This is just a
little bit different cross-section, different players. Everyone has to play a
role in order for us to be successful."
非官方，在過去是 Kidd-Carter-Jefferson。
現在則是不同領域，不同球員，每個人都必須堅守自己的崗位，以得到勝利。
