NetsDaily的 Xcalibur great great win. back2back wins against a Hawks team that came in coming off their first loss and we swept them. i expected them to be a lot more aggressive today than yesterday and get at least brook in foul trouble and get an early lead and not look back but i was wrong. *HARRIS is simply money. back-2-back-2-back 30pt performances. not just scoring 30, but doing it in a very impressive way from the 3, inside the arc, at the line and in the paint. these are not 30pts that are padded, his points have meant something, same for vince. not only is his scoring phenomenal, but his passing and playmaking has improved. devin now has a very very positive effect on the team like kidd had and vince has. we saw without him we struggled big time. *VINCE passed kidd for points score so grats to him. he had a slow 1st half, but at times he wasnt needed. then the hawks got on the run and in the second half vince turned on the heat. shooting lights out at times and playing an all around game. vince was even coaching until the finals seconds to box out to ryan and brook. lovin vince’s game. *Simmons i will keep sighing until he makes me say something positive. im tired of pointing out his negatives. so SIGH *Yi is disappointing me big time. it just seems he is not comfortable at all. his game is very limited and he isnt taking the initiative to impact the game. hes not driving or trying to get himself in a better position to score. im not giving up, but he must improve his gameplay no doubt. *Brook has so much potential. he didnt score like last night, but his defense i thought was very good. he had a couple of blocks and boards. i thought this could have been a tough game for brook. a rook who had a career night one day at home then goes on the road to face the same team who is going to try and attack him and limit him. he played very well and didnt back 2. two huge dunks were missed, but got fouled on the second. boone should be worried but i think he still gets it when hes healthy. *Hayes had a great night, but sadly got hurt. i usually say he should start over simmons, but at the end of the game HE is closing the game out not bobby and he is getting a couple more minutes than bobby which is the main point. solid shooting and overall play. hope the injury isnt serious because he is a big part of our bench *Dooling was solid again especially when he was with harris. they both can get in the paint when they want and dooling was taking on the entire hawks team at once at one point creating fouls left and right. *Mr.Anderson is silky smooth from behind the arc. what can the kid NOT do? he hits the 3s, midrange shots, gets hustle plays, solid from the FT line and is improving his defense. i mean how encouraging is it to see Brook and Ryan as our 4 and 5 closing out games? frankly, no pun intended, i love it and he deserves it. he is a better version than najera. hopefully when hes back one bad game from ryan wont get him back glued on the bench *SWAT would have one good play, then have a bad play to follow it up. he seems to just play too loose. he gets a rebound but gets it stolen. his defense positioning has gotten better you can see, but he takes one step forward then one back. *Ager comes in and commits 3 quick fouls in what, 4 possessions? is that possible for an nba player to do? well ager gets an nba contract so i guess that qualifies him as a nba player and yeah it is possible. one thing that is great to see with this team is that we are a good free throw shooting team! when was the last time we could say that? Jimmy was right that when you make your FT’s those close losses from last year become close wins this year. devin has been billups-like at the line too. it wasnt a perfect game as we let them back in it too much and at times were stagnant on offense, but boy these were two very impressive wins. detroit,hawks,@hawks all 3 very very impressive wins in my book. maybe we can be that surprised team. still a long long way to go, but this team is gaining confidence and chemistry game by game. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 220.134.181.36
