[外電] Lawrence Frank's Job Seems Safe

The Nets turned in two straight embarrassing performances earlier this week,
prompting some, outside and inside the organization, to call for Lawrence
Frank's head.
But unless the Nets take a serious downward turn in their final seven games
of the season, the coach is likely to be back next season, sources close to
the situation say.
Team president Rod Thorn sparked speculation earlier this week when he
declined a chance to guarantee that Frank will be back on the Nets' sideline
next season. But Thorn is almost always noncommittal when discussing
long-term personnel issues and was simply stating a fact when he said that
Frank, along with everyone else on the team, will be evaluated at season's
end.
And while the Nets are all but officially eliminated from playoff contention,
Thorn has publicly and privately said he is happy with the job that Frank has
done.
