[外電] Billy King: 我們目前沒有跟教練人選坐下來談

目前 Billy King 表示 並沒有跟其他教練接觸討論
"We have not contacted anybody, not sat down with anybody. We made the move
and we're going to let P.J. coach," King told O'Connor on ESPN Radio Sunday,
echoing Mikhail Prokhorov's comments Friday night. He did say, repeatedly,
that they will re-evaluate P.J. Carlesimo at some point but wouldn't put a
timetable on it.
King：「我們目前沒有和任何人有接觸，並沒有和任何人坐下來談。
我們目前傾向是讓 P.J. coach 繼續擔任總教頭。
大老闆的意思是會重新評估 P.J. Carlesimo，但並沒有時間表」
"More than anything, you just need to calm the waters and let guys breathe as
a group and try to gel," King told O'Connor. "Because if we're in the middle
of a search, the turmoil just continues. We need our guys to just focus on
the now and San Antonio."
「更重要的是，你必須讓目前的局勢安定下來，讓隊員們可以喘息，並團結一致」
「因為如果我們現在還在繼續尋找教練，而目前都只是暫定的話，
這在球隊內的不安、騷動還會繼續。
我需要我們的球員現在就要專心一致，並且積極準備接下來在聖安東尼奧的比賽」
PS:
1. Carlesimo 卡列西摩教練才跟 Prokhorov 吃了兩小時的晚餐，
Proky 的意思是 他想要繼續贏，如果能繼續贏球 他就會很開心。
2. Prokhorov 最近兩場比賽都有到現場看球，看的出來他確實很關心這支球隊。
3. P.J. Carlesimo 其實資歷也不差，是1992年奧運美國男籃教練團之一，
也跟在 Popovich 麾下好一陣子，手上的三枚冠軍戒就是那時得來的。
曾擔任過雷霆教練(08-09, 13場比賽)，和勇士隊教練(1997-2000)
4. Carlesimo 雖然之前戰績不好，但是在 Popo 的體系學習之下，
籃網如果想要效法馬刺的成功經驗，目前手上的菜確實是蠻適合他的。
Brook Lopez, Deron Williams, Joe Johnson 及其他防守悍將和副手
5. 這支球隊的天賦不是拿來ISO用的，如果有教練能捨棄這個方式，
就是好的開始。
