Albert Luque - who scored the winner in the midweek Uefa Cup triumph over
Palermo, is looking for an extended run in the first team.
"I need goals to help with my confidence," he said.
"I don't think I have ever played three matches in a row for Newcastle.
That is the only way Newcastle will see the authentic Albert Luque.
"I have come from a different continental style of play so I still feel like
I need consecutive matches to get me totally used to English football.
"I need to be playing because that is the only way I will improve.
I will only play well if I get matches.
If I am not playing it is impossible to show what I can do."
