所以他會是最佳11人根本都不用意外。
ESPN 和 SkySports的最佳門將都是他。
Given the season they've been having, Newcastle may have anticipated being on
the end of a real leathering at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Getting a 1-1 draw, then, was something of a victory for the Magpies, and their
goalkeeper Shay Given deserves much of the credit. Newcastle defended stoutly
after Kieran Dyer gave them the lead, but Given still had plenty to do -
Arsenal managed 23 shots to Newcastle's two.

Manager of the week is Newcastle's Glenn Roeder, who was delighted with
his team's effort. 'I am proud of the boys. We've shown we are more than
capable and will pull away from the bottom three,' he said.
More performances like the one on Saturday and he might yet be proved right.
