Duff undergoes foot op

Newcastle have confirmed Damien Duff has undergone surgery on his foot, but
the club have refused to comment on how long the Irish winger will be
sidelined for.
俱樂部證實達夫又再次動了手術。
Duff's season came to a premature end when he damaged his foot against
Portsmouth on 14th April.
The club were initially hopeful a period of rest would be sufficient, but
Duff went under the knife last Friday.
One report has suggested Duff could be out of action for six months, but
The Magpies have only confirmed the 'operation was a success' and that 'Duff is
now recuperating back in Dublin.'
有些報導猜測Duff將會缺陣6個月，但是官網沒有對這些猜測做出回應。
官網只證實了，手術很成功，達夫現在回到都柏林休養。
Duff has endured a mixed first season on Tyneside, as a spate of injuries
have restricted his impact, and he will hope for a swift recovery in order to
make an impression on the individual the club appoint as Glenn Roeder's
successor.
現在的大傷對Duff來說不太妙，因為他將會減少了給新主帥建立印象的機會...
唉...
