Roeder was incensed by referee Andy D'Urso's decision to award Bristol City a free-kick from which they scored their winner against the Canaries. Assistant Manager Lee Clark has also been charged, having been sent from the dug-out that day at Ashton Gate. Roeder and Clark have until 21 April to respond to the charges. They could be fined if found guilty. After his side's 2-1 defeat on 29 March, Roeder told BBC Radio Norfolk: "I have never ever in my life, after the final whistle, gone on to approach the referee. "I'm normally a very calm person. "But the referee's performance in that instance was so abysmal, even I couldn't restrain myself going to see him."
