[新聞] Sam:兩個問題需要解決
SAM Allardyce said he had "two clear problems to put right" after the
"disappointing" 2-2 draw against bottom side Derby County at St.James'Park.
The Newcastle boss said his side had wasted the opportunity of three
points by failing to take their chances - and conceding from Derby's only
two attempts on goal.
"I'm disappointed that we had to come back from a goal down," said Big
Sam, "and I'm disappointed that we have to come back from 2-1 down when
we've clearly had enough opportunities to bury the game.
我是不知道 Allardyce失望個什麼啦,主場對 Derby,放三個後腰.......
中場很糟糕,後防很破爛,本隊最有進攻能力的兩個人被放在不對的位置.
浪費機會是個問題沒錯,但踢的爛才是個重點.
"We have encouraged the opposition to have something to hang onto right
to the end. Even though we nearly won it 3-2 at the death, we've got two
clear problems to put right.
"The opposition have had two shots on target and scored two. And we've
had numerous chances to score more."
Aussie striker Mark Viduka was United's saviour with two equalisers
and Allardyce added: "Mark Viduka has shown the way today. He's had three
opportunities and converted two.
把人家放了好幾場板凳之後他救了球隊.
整場比賽太多人都有機會起腳但都不知道在猶豫個什麼,處理球很拖拖拉拉,
然後馬上就被斷球,這場最果斷起腳的兩球進了就是 Viduka.
其他人最好練練射門.......
"Chances went begging in the first few minutes of the first half we had
already had opportunities to be 2-0 up when Derby scored.
"Then the second half - a long ball and we just had to get the basic
defending right.
"Ultimately we got something out of the game but we are still very
disappointed. We have missed numerous chances and not won a game that we
should have won.
"I'm very pleased at the attacking play apart from the conversion of
chances. But we have to take it on the chin.
"We've kept the unbeaten run going which is important. Derby at 1-0 and
2-1 up are going to defend for their lives, like they did, but that doesn't
stop the disappointment of ourselves.
"We have to go to Wigan now on Boxing Day and make sure we put this one
behind us."

當 Derby降級去以後他會發現英超他也對 Newcastle保持不敗.
